“It’s a Wonderful Lie”

Oh what a tangled web we weave...

Oh what a tangled web we weave…

I drive everyone in my family nuts every year at this time by luring them all into the family room, locking the doors, turning off the lights, passing out the popcorn and slipping in my favorite Christmas movie of all time “It’s a Wonderful Life”… 😉

OK, I’m exaggerating slightly…I don’t really lock the doors. But when I saw the cartoon above I realized, that is exactly how Obama slipped the Horror Flick we now know as Obamacare in…with one other subtle variance in technique; I lured…He LIED!

By now everyone has heard and now realizes the “you can keep your healthcare and your doctor” lie. And many of us have now suffered the consequences and felt the pain of this lie, with many more of us projected to fall equally ill next year! But did you realize you wouldn’t be able to keep your hospital? Were you aware that you might not be able to keep your Fire-Fighter…or your medicine…or your own identity?

I guess the holiday message in “It’s a Wonderful Lie” is this: After you lose everything, what else could possibly go wrong?

...when we lie to deceive!

…when we lie to deceive!

It’s a sad state of affairs. While it does seem the disastrous roll-out of Obamacare has opened a lot of eyes, I wonder if we now have enough hands on deck to undo the damage, or if the monster that is big-government has grown beyond our reach.
