For you have forgotten the God of your salvation, and have not remembered the Rock of your refuge; therefore, though you plant pleasant plants and set out slips of an alien god, though you make them grow on the day that you plant them, and make them blossom in the morning that you sow; yet the harvest will flee away in a day of grief and incurable pain. ~ Isaiah 17:10-11
I read this passage from Isaiah yesterday and thought to myself how the same words, which read like a far-off story of ancient times when I was a teen, now seem to narrate the current people, place and time…in my own back yard perfectly. Monsanto comes to mind…
What impressed French historian Alexis de Tocqueville most during his visits to the early American Colonies was the God-centric quality of our society. The formative flavor of our nation rippled out from the pulpits of the American church at the hub of the wheel spinning the remarkable fabric of what would become the freest and strongest nation on earth. Good Sunday Morning Dear Friend!
The Progressive Spinning Wheel
The world that we look upon 240 years later is the direct result of two major changes since de Tocqueville stood in awe of us. The Judeo-Christian Spinning Wheel financed and operated by we the people at the local level, separate from government has been replaced by a Progressive Spinning Wheel financed and operated by globalists conspiring with government against the laws of nature, in defiance of Nature’s God!
Look and see what they have spun in such a short time. We have ourselves a President who has made himself a King exactly one week before our Thanksgiving. We have the Congress we deserve made from the very same cloth…exploiting rather than representing a culture of such flagrant indifference and decay it can no longer be considered a “fabric”. Rather; it is disintegration…a ghost of what once was.
All you inhabitants of the world, you who dwell on the earth, when a signal is raised on the mountains, look! When a trumpet is blown, hear! ~ Isaiah 18:3
An oracle concerning Egypt. Behold, the Lord is riding on a swift cloud and comes to Egypt; and the idols of Egypt will tremble at his presence, and the heart of the Egyptians will melt within them. And I will stir up Egyptians against Egyptians, and they will fight, every man against his brother and every man against his neighbor, city against city, kingdom against kingdom; and the spirit of the Egyptians within them will be emptied out, and I will confound their plans; and they will consult the idols and the sorcerers, and the mediums and the wizards; and I will give over the Egyptians into the hand of a hard master; and a fierce king will rule over them, says the Lord, the Lord of hosts. ~ Isaiah 19:1-4
So I ask you Dear Friend, as their Spinning Wheel spins, whose trumpet does Larry Kudlow hear exactly? When he says things like “If the Republicans don’t lose their cool” in response to King Obama shredding the Constitution; is he bowing to his Christian God or his Globalist one?
The Lord has mingled within her a spirit of confusion; and they have made Egypt stagger in all her doings as a drunken man (or formally drunken man) staggers in his vomit. And there will be nothing for Egypt which head or tail, palm branch or reed, may do. ~ Isaiah 19:14-15
