The Sunday Morning Tune-up ~ August 16, 2015

“I WANT MY CHURCH BACK!!!”

“What is the great American sin? Extravagance? Vice? Graft? No; it is a kind of half-humorous, good-natured indifference, a lack of “concentrated indignation” as my English friend calls it, which allows extravagance and vice to flourish. Trace most of our ills to their source, and it is found that they exist by virtue of an easy-going, fatalistic indifference which dislikes to have its comfort disturbed….The most shameless greed, the most sickening industrial atrocities, the most appalling public scandals are exposed, but a half-cynical and wholly indifferent public passes them by with hardly a shrug of the shoulders; and they are lost in the medley of events. This is the great American sin.” ~ Joseph Fort Newton, 1922

In 230 plus years, we have gone from liberty to abundance; from abundance to selfishness; from selfishness to complacency; and from complacence to apathy. I’d say we’re on the tail end of apathy, mired in dependency on the doorstep of bondage and hard tyranny. According to the “nine stage” theory, revival of faith comes next, which begets courage…leading us back to the life-saving shores of liberty.

I found this interesting article by Allen L. Roland from March of 2012 in which he pegged us at the 7th (Apathy) stage. That was before they opened our southern floodgates. And it was before General Wesley Clark suggested internment camps for “disloyal Americans”! In his piece, he offered the hope of skipping the bondage stage by reclaiming our faith! All in favor say AYE! Good Sunday Morning Dear Friend!

“I Want My Church Back!”

On the eve of a controversial Pope’s visit to a nation in decline, Truth is presenting itself in a myriad of ways, in stark and divine contrast to the message he brings…as he kneels before the altar of the UN, expecting his flock to bow down with him. As my friend Rev. Bill recently observed in the Donald Phenomenon, Remember, it is God who raises up kings (leaders) and puts them down. We will get what we pray for and work for…it will be interesting!” Show me a single good Catholic/Christian praying for our subordination and subjugation to the UN, and I’ll show you as many unicorn-riding leprechauns! Nuts!

Behold the Glory of God behind the winds that lift the phony robes of false prophets and politicians as the “Holy See” sets foot just ahead of Holy Hillary’s perp walk! A walk that, if miraculously avoided, lifts the veil of illusion on the entire empire! Only God could counter the elaborate mechanisms of the State’s deception with such perfectly timed precision! But are enough of us paying attention?

Thanks to my friend Lynn T (T for Treat), please enjoy this little gem of a clip of a man doing what I have only dreamed of doing…in California no less! Feel his “power” unleashed in the room full of sheep. He is McMurphy gone into the Cuckoo’s Nest to confront the thieves and demand, “I want my Church back!” Remember the nine stages, Faith begets Courage…he has drawn a power from the well of the Holy Spirit…no person in the room can match. Watch and watch again my friend…drink from the cup!

Truth has its own inertia, and its own momentum when fed, nurtured, emboldened and empowered by the hearts that finally reject the lies and return to seek it!

Happy moments: Praise God

Difficult moments: Seek God

Quiet moments: Worship God

Painful moments: Trust God

Every moment: Thank God

I know that area of the country well. I am aware of the real religion being followed in Garden Grove Churches. I have gotten into my own arguments out there myself. Not pretty! This guy is my hero and inspiration for this week. Let’s all get together and take back our Churches!
