The Sunday Morning Tune-up ~ The Moral Authority

SURREAL

So Jesus said, “Are you still without understanding? Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated? But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man.” ~ Oswald Chambers, “A Fool’s Paradise”. Matthew 15:16-20

The above passage from Matthew was Jesus’ response to Peter who was questioning Him on being at odds with the Pharisees over Jewish custom. Hmm…can you imagine a time when Truth is at odds with Pharisitic (Establishment) Rule of Law, which always mutates into Rule of Power in the world of man? Same as it always was…Truth has always been Truth, as the Pharisees of the New Testament have evolved into the Modern Testament version of the very same men with different names; Globalists/Deep State/Elites…the Pharisees of our time…Power and Control.

Who has the moral authority in America? We know from Jesus explaining to Peter what “proceeds out of the mouth of man” above. And we know from Jesus responding to Satan below, what “proceeds from the mouth of God.”  Knowing and realizing that in our Founders’ wisdom, we were established as a Republic on the solid foundation of God’s authority and not man’s, for this very reason…I ask you to watch this 4:17 minute Tucker Carlson interview with Professor Jason Hill. If you love and appreciate America, and this clip doesn’t send an icy chill up your spine, then nothing possibly could. Here are the professor’s quotes that stung me most:

“The Right has lost the culture war.”

“The Left is in control of our cultural institutions.”

“We (the Right) have ceded the moral high ground.”

“We are apologists for our values, and we are apologists for our principles.”

“We have given them (the Left) the moral authority.”

“We (the Right) don’t have the moral courage to fight.”

…which dovetails neatly into this message on “Hate Speech” from David Carlin:

“For those of us who are Christians, the walls of intolerance are closing in. The proclamation of our beliefs, especially our moral beliefs, causes (it is alleged) pain to others. Therefore these proclamations must cease.” It would seem the Pharisees have found their Judas once again…

As the “walls” are so clearly “closing in”, now would be a very good time to ask a very important question. How can we give them (the Left) what is not ours to give? We can and do give “evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.” But moral authority is not ours to give and so Professor Hill, with all due respect, is wrong. We can mistakenly give up or lose our perception of moral authority…which only a corrupt heart may claim. And with our loss goes our courage. Think of Peter and the rest of the disciples after the arrest of Jesus. The very men who broke bread with Him, followed Him, and witnessed Him, scattered and denied Him because they lost perception of the true moral authority, and with it their courage. They regained these precious things to become martyrs only after the ascension. These same truths apply to State as well as Church. An officer of the law sworn to uphold his oath (to God) to defend and protect the Constitution of these United States is not only under no obligation to follow orders from his superiors that he knows to be unconstitutional, it is his moral obligation and duty to disobey such orders. (Our Constitution is the fountain which draws from the well of God’s moral authority.) And yet it happens every day because too many on the Blue Line are losing or have lost their perception of the fact that Constitutional Authority supersedes their commanding officer’s authority. And after the loss, their own moral courage follows. I fear this to be the case among the ranks of Cuomo’s troopers…let them prove me wrong.

But there is another point to be made regarding the Disciples’ loss of moral courage following the arrest of our Lord. Remember why Jesus wept a week earlier when He arrived in Jerusalem to a hero’s welcome on Palm Sunday. He wept because He knew they did not understand the nature of His Kingship, or the Kingdom He had come to prepare them for. They all thought He was about to use His power to vanquish the Roman occupiers and take up His earthly throne…which meant they now would be the ones in power. As soon as that turned out not to be the case, the true moral authority evaporated from their minds…taking with it, their own moral courage.

Is this not exactly what is happening to the majority of we Christians today? Professor Hill sure seems to think so. And on this point, I believe him to be exactly right.

Finally, one last point needs to be made in order for us to regain our rightful place with respect to the one true moral authority. The Disciples were never misled by their Leader. We Americans, on the other hand, have been the most misled of any society in the history of societies…by the most diabolical network of criminals and thieves to ever coalesce. In fact, this entire network is fighting for its very survival at this very moment…against one man. Misled people often find themselves in dangerous times…Hard times. G. Michael Hopf once wrote “Good times create weak men. Weak men create hard times. Hard times create strong men.”

The network is desperately attempting to portray the one man as a bad man. But the one man is a strong man protected by the Grace of God. He is aided by a network of strong men in most of our government agencies. Some of you may have heard of the mysterious figure(s) within the intelligence community who goes by the name Q, or Q anon. I encourage you to watch this 13- minute video, Q The Plan to Save the World. And then you’ll be ready for a closer look at the Global Network of the greatest Misleaders the world has ever known…as revealed by the extensive research of yet another strong man. Tip of the iceberg my friends. The rest is up to us.

I’ve had three significantly surreal moments in my life. (1) I had what can best be described as a angelic visitation in the middle of the night while I was alone in a washroom that resembled the washroom in One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest…where the Chief threw the round sink threw the window to make his escape, while I was in private school in North Yarmouth Maine. (2) I had a strange young man and his dog pick me up hitch-hiking late at night in Mississippi and drive me 300 miles to my home in Stephenville, Louisiana…because I was “going to be a king.” (3) Not too long after that Al Capone’s final personal bodyguard put a gun to my head in the swamps of Louisiana and asked me if I was afraid of dying. But all of these experiences pale in comparison to the surreal-on-steroids experience of watching what is happening to our world and the country I love at this very moment in time.

NOW, it all begins to make sense. Once we regain our proper perspective of true moral authority we have the courage to recognize and fight the immoral authority. And oh, by the way…Free Speech includes the right to offend! This won’t be easy. In fact, this may very well be the most difficult adventure you have ever taken on. But when we know what we know, there can be no other course for us to follow…especially on this side of His Ascension. And the devil has many tricks yet to play…

Below are the three responses to the three temptations Jesus endured after forty days of fasting in the desert. He did not debate with Satan, he simply referred to God’s word (Moral Authority) when tempted with food, doubt, and power.

It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’”

“Again it is written, “You shall not tempt the Lord your God.’”

“Begone, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve.’” ~ Excerpts from Matthew 4:4-10

  1. Well done faithful servant. I enjoy that way you have woven the scripture into the current events of the day.

Preach it brother! Really, these are the types of “sermons” we need to hear coming from America’s pulpits! I vote for your ordination!
